Telephone Historical Centre
Volunteers

Help Us Preserve Edmonton's Rich Heritage!

The volunteers at the Telephone Historical Centre have been dedicated to its work since its inception in 1987.  The Centre currently has 7 dedicated volunteers who work with the collections, facilitate the education programs and share their extensive knowledge about the communications field. In 2014 they received the Canadian Museums Association's Museum Volunteer Award for their outstanding service and dedication!

We are always looking for new volunteers who are passionate about preserving Edmonton's rich history and have an interest in learning about telecommunications in Edmonton from our knowledgeable volunteers who previously worked for Edmonton Telephones. No museum or telecommunications experience is required, just a willingness to learn and contribute to our organization.

We hope you will join our team and help us carry on the story of Edmonton's telecommunications history!

If you would like to volunteer at the Telephone Historical Centre, please call (780) 433-1010 or email the museum at thc3@telus.net
